On Bedding

I've been living in this extended-stay corporate hotel in middle-of-nowhere Pennsylvania since May 1st. It's a nice enough place, it's clean and... well, it's clean, but the pillows leave a little to be desired - they are a tad lumpy for my taste. I finally got around to bringing my own pillows with me for increased comfort. This week the normal cleaning guy (and owner of the building) was on vacation and therefore a temporary maid cleaned the rooms. I guess she didn't realize I had brought my own pillows and they have been replaced with the ones I don't like. This is the first time I have been to a hotel and they have stolen MY pillows.

Uh oh. The blog spammers have found you. But, back to your post. That's hilarious. I think you should leave a note demanding the return of your pillows along with a peace offering. Such as Erika.

I deleted the spam comment. I did leave a note on the pillows today explaining the situation. Hopefully when I get back tonight my personal pillows will have been returned.

Maybe, they will be so distraught from stealing your personal property that they will scour the laundry room searching for pillows that don't belong to them. When they find them, they will return them to you. Maybe, the ones they find and return to you won't actually be your pillows either, but will be even better pillows that someone else brought and had stolen from them!!!

Post follow up: I did get my pillows back, and then after another polite note I also got the original two pillow cases back!
